Who We Are
Refreshment Cart Liaisons are the most visible and well know volunteers in the Cancer Center. Their service of refreshments to cancer patients and their companions is a vital service in making the time pass more quickly as well as providing for their basic needs of fluids for hydration.
What We Do
Refreshment Cart Liaisons take a cart of various beverages to waiting areas within the cancer center. These beverages include coffee, juice, soda and water. The volunteers use proper infection control guidelines to efficiently and safely serve these beverages to patients and their companions. These volunteers also create a welcoming and friendly environment by interacting with patients helping to make their appointment visit as pleasant as possible.
