Cancer Patient Liaison - Northland

This special volunteer need is for those who have a heart for supporting cancer patients and their caregivers through the cancer journey.  Cancer patients have unique physical, emotional and social needs requiring empathy and support.

Volunteers:

• Provide drinks, snacks, reading material, warm blankets and other comfort items
• Give a listening ear to those patients and caregivers who want to have a conversation or interaction
• Offer staff support by restocking, cleaning common touch surfaces and re-prepping exam/treatment areas after patient use
